What is solution focussed hypnotherapy?
A combination of talking therapy (elements of psychotherapy such as CBT and NLP) and hypnosis/trance which can help people to achieve positive change in many areas of their life. I can help you to find solutions rather than focus on the problem for which you sought help.
What is trance?
A very ordinary, relaxed state which we experience every day (when we are driving a familiar route or at the gym for example). During this relaxed state the unconscious mind is more aware and can focus on suggestions or helpful ideas. Through guided relaxation and trance we can support you to make positive changes.
Is it safe?
Even though we may feel deeply relaxed, we are still fully conscious and in control when experiencing trance.
Will it work?
Because it works to help you visualise a positive future and to be able to relax more easily, you are likely to quickly see improvements in how you cope with life. But of course - you get out what you put in! How much it helps will vary between clients. Results will vary and success is not guaranteed.
